Personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.
Non-personal identification information
We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

How we use collected information
Compost Cab may collect and use Users personal information for the following purposes:
- To improve customer service Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.
- To personalize user experience We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Site.
- To improve our Site We may use feedback you provide to improve our products and services.
- To process payments We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.
- To run a promotion, contest, survey or other Site feature To send Users information they agreed to receive about topics we think will be of interest to them.
- To send periodic emails We may use the email address to send User information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, questions, and/or other requests. If User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, they may do so by contacting us via our Site.
How we protect your information
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.
Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.
Sharing your personal information
We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above.We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given us your permission.
Terms of Service
Your subscription will be fulfilled by Compost Cab of Agricity, LLC.
The Subscription Contract
When you click “Create My Account” when signing up for Compost Cab online, you are offering to subscribe to our product and compost pick-up service which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract.
When signing up online, your credit/debit card will be debited when your account becomes active- that is, the week that your deliveries begin. You will receive an email confirming that your subscription is in the system and is being processed. The contract between you and Compost Cab is not formed at this point; a legally binding contract is formed on the date we send you written confirmation of your order. If your bin is delivered any time other than the first week of the month to begin your subscription, you will be prorated the cost of one month’s subscription.
You will receive written confirmation within 14 days of submitting your order. Please note that we will not be responsible if you fail to receive the written confirmation because you have provided us with an incorrect email address.
We reserve the right not to accept or process your order for any reason. All subscriptions are subject to validation checks and authorization by your credit card issuer. If we do not accept your order and your credit/debit card has already been debited, we will notify you and refund your card in full immediately. Please allow one business week for all refunds to go through the system.
Right to Refuse Subscriptions
We reserve the right not to fulfill and to cancel orders if we are unable to obtain payment authorization from your credit/debit card issuer.
We will deliver your bin to the address provided by you when you place your order. Your subscription will start with the next available start day for your neighborhood. Please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery of your bin. You agree that we will not be responsible for failure to deliver the bin if you have supplied us with an incorrect address.
Delay in Delivery and Non-Delivery
We will not be liable to you for any delay in delivery or non-delivery of your bin in the following circumstances:
Where the issuer of your credit/debit card payment refuses to authorize payment to us
(a) Where such delay or failure is due to circumstances beyond our control or the control of our subcontractors or agents including, but not limited to, electricity power failure, utilities failure, transportation infrastructure failure, flood, fire, government act, strikes, legislative constraints.
Cancellations and Refunds
(a) Once you have signed up for service, you will not be able to cancel your service in the same day. Should you wish to cancel after the minimum term of one month, please contact our customer care team (email@example.com) by signing into your subscriber dashboard. All cancellations must be given in advance of the next month’s payment if you do not wish to be charged for the following month.
(b) Credit Card Refunds: Please note that all credit card refunds will be issued through Recurly.
If you would like to suspend your account, you may do so for up to one month’s service, at no expense. You will notify Compost Cab of the suspension in your subscriber dashboard and by contacting our customer care team (firstname.lastname@example.org). During the course of one calendar year, you can suspend your account and not pay for one month of service.
Prices displayed on the subscriptions section of the website will prevail at all times in relation to orders placed online.
Your acceptance of these terms
By using this Site, you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
